Professional Quotes

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

When you get a freight quote, you are engaging the company in a professional manner. This allows you to see how the company treats possible consumers. You need to ask your questions up front and think about how they are answering these questions along with what their actual answer is.  The quote process should not take long, and in the end you should have a good idea of what the company offers, how much it will cost, and how the company treats people. Using this knowledge, you should be able to choose a company that will make you happy as well as getting the job you need done completed. Ask all questions that you have before you put your name on a contract.

Roadway Express winter driving safety tips

Be Prepared.
Be ready for what you may encounter while driving.

You may say–”this is common sense.” And it is. But how many of us jump in our vehicle when the weather looks nice and end up in an ice or snow storm?

Some good suggestions to be prepared for winter driving–the basics–wear proper clothing (loose layers, extra gloves, rain gear); keep a flashlight in the glove box; a blanket, food/water on hand; a bag of sand/salt and extra washer fluid; a windshield scraper.

Try to have at least a half of a tank of gas during winter–just in case.

Plan long trips carefully. Keep in mind what kind of weather conditions you may encounter.
